New historical venue for PBA2013!
The organizing committee announces that PBA2013 venue will be moved to an historical residence located in the heart of Bologna.
The number of participants has allowed for a more charming and historical location for the 2013 edition of the 24th Symposium on Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis – Recent Developments in Pharmaceutical Analysis (RDPA2013).
The new congress venue is the Gnudi Scagliarini Palace (via Riva di Reno 77, Bologna), which is a neoclassical residence from the 16th century located just at a 6 min-walk (500 m) from the old location (Royal Carlton Hotel).
Conference sessions will be held in two nicely decorated rooms: the “Hall of Mirrors”, with decorations and paintings by Giacomo Rossi (1789, walls) and Petronio and Pietro Fancelli (ceiling) and the “Room of Diana”, named upon the delicate painting of the goddess attributed to Pietro Fancelli.
Poster sessions will be set under the porticoes of the internal court of the Palace.
The new location can be easily reached on foot from the main rail station (10 min walking). It is just at 5 min walking distance from Piazza Maggiore (Bologna main square), the two Towers and other historical attractions, just few meters away from the main shopping street of the city.
We would also like to inform that the final program is now available on the symposium web site. Please have a look and find the lectures that most fulfill your research interests.
We hope that the new congress venue will give to scientists, who will attend PBA2013, a better experience on the Italian culture and artistic tradition.
We look forward to welcoming you in Bologna!
